However, in today's fast-paced, high stressed society many of us can feel easily overwhelmed. Layer in structural issues like homophobia, racism, ageism, transphobia, etc and it can really feel like too much. Our speaker will help us address and identify meaningful ways guys into guys can help manage it all to lead more balanced lives. Our presenter - Christopher Hnain Chris has a Masters in Educational Counselling from University of Ottawa, and currently works as a counsellor for the Ottawa General Hospital, and as an EAP counsellor for Health Canada. His clients come from diverse ages and backgrounds, and typically have concerns with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, and addictions. He also works with individuals from the GLBTQ+ community, tackling issues around shame, homophobia, coping with HIV, and trans issues.   Event Details: Free admission Light snacks will be provided. Accessibility notes: The venue is wheelchair accessible There is a gender-neutral and accessible washroom at the venue. The event will be held in English. ASL/QSL or English-to-French translators are available upon request (please contact us at least 48 hours prior at info@maxottawa.ca)   We would like to acknowledge that MAX Ottawa operates on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin Territory. *"Behind The Scene" is a monthly talk series around health and wellness of guys into guys brought to you by MAX Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital.  Centretown Community Health Centre QueerEvents America/Toronto public
