Created in 2013, Orange Shirt day is marked every year on September 30th. It is a day to honour residential school survivors and remember those who did not survive, a day for survivors to tell their stories and for others to listen with open hearts.
As with many communities, it is important that we all find supports and services that align with our values and cultures, and this is particularly important for Indigenous communities.
