Toronto Queer Film Festival showcases contemporary, innovative, queer and trans film and video art. 

Theme for 2021 is Queer Emergencies.

From COVID to the Apocalypse, from concrete crises to spiritual struggles and colonial calamity, we aim to not only shine a light on the ways queer, trans, and 2 Spirit people are grieving, overwhelmed, and uncertain, but to lift up stories of love, solidarity, resistance, and joy. Because at the end of the day, we are still here and we are still queer!

About TQFF

TQFF creates spaces for voices and artists to share their work with particular focus on ensuring social justice themed projects that centre the experiences of Indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, transgender people, sex workers, porn makers, and other communities often marginalized in contemporary LGBT cultural programming and spaces.
