Transgender Day of Remembrance

Event Description

Rainbow Youth PARN is hosting a panel presentation in collaboration with Trans Peer Outreach.

The panel features local trans people who will speak to their experiences of safety and well being in the community, with attention to what would improve these experiences.

Virtual event will be held from 1-3pm. For more info contact parn.ca or email directly.

Candlelight Vigil (outdoor event)

Following the panel there is an outdoor vigil, hosted by QueeRAdicals, PARN's Rainbow Youth Ambassadors group, with hot chocolate from our friends at PFLAG.

This is an open community event to honour Trans people lost to anti-Trans violence.

This event starts at 4:30 at Confederation Park, across from city hall. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged. Dress warmly!
