Who does Food for Queers support?
Queer folks right here in Deshkan Ziibiing (London) who are experiencing barriers to food security.
Food for Queers members include individuals, students, young families, single parents, families with hungry teenagers, folks with precarious living arrangements, all kinds of wonderful folks who need a little extra queer love and support.

What does my financial contribution do for folks?
We turn your generosity into fresh food!
Financial contributions are used to add fresh fruits and vegetables, perishable staples to help make sure folks receiving grocery kits are provided with nutritional solutions as well as important household items and food staples to get folks through these difficult times.
Contributions also ensure grocery kits can be provided to help folks who have food allergies and dietary restrictions.

If you have non-perishable food items that you can provide the program, please reach out via community@queerevents.ca to arrange a drop off time.
To help convey our most needed items and for those who are unsure what items are helpful to donate we set up an Instacart link anyone can view.*Selections are for example purposes, not an endorsement of any brand, store, service or specific item. -
Volunteers & Kindness
Food for Queers operates because of the generosity and support of volunteers who are committed to ensuring people have access to food and that no one in our LGBT2Q+ community goes hungry during this crisis.
Financial contributions to Food for Queers ensures the program can continue to provide ongoing food solutions to as many folks in our local LGBT2Q+ community as possible. Queer Events is not a registered charitable or non-profit organization, we are unable to provide charitable donation receipts.
