Let's Talk About Sex

ACO welcomes you to “Let’s Talk About Sex!” an event for young womxn and gender diverse sex to speak amongst themselves and sexual educators while centering pleasure, desire and their identities. Local educators and community workers will join us at the Origin Arts and Community Centre for an open night of questions, discussions and information in an informal manner. A night with no shame, no questions too stupid and free of stigma as we learn, grow and share together and we invite all of you to join us! Food will be provided!

*The term Womxn is an alternative term for the English language word women which has been regularly in use since 2015 to explicitly include transgender women.

This event is being held on the unceded and unsurrendered land of:
- St. Lawrence Iroquoians
- Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ
- Mohawk
- Huron-Wendat
- Omàmiwininiwak (Algonquin)

Meaning that this land is Indigenous land and it will be respected as such. We invite everyone involved in this event to take a look at what that means to them and their intersecting identities, and further their understanding of how colonialism affects all of us.
