Description
Plan B is an alternative queer community space by queer folks for queer folks. We’re developing our organization into a not-for-profit multi-stakeholder co-operative. We’re aiming to merge three key elements in our day-to-day operations: part resource center and people’s photocopier, part coffee shop and community event space, and part feminist sex toy store. We’re aiming to provide sliding scale printing, a community zine library, alternative education and programming, and offer items such as binders and ethical harnesses for queer bodies.
Services & Activities
- Plan ENBY - a brand new social group launching out of Plan B Co-op. This specific social group is for non-binary, gender non-conforming, or otherwise gender variant folx in the Region of Waterloo. The group is aiming to bridge gaps and create an affirming social space for those whose genders lie beyond the scope of a binary.
- QT2SI+ Garment Swap
- (re)create - a new monthly program out of Plan B Co-operative KW that is a collaborative LGBTQ+ art space to skill share, craft, and socialize. All LGBTQ+ folks and your friends are welcome!
